Lava Mobils has launched a new business phone in the Indian market, targeting enterprise users looking for features like a qurety keyboard, push-mail and Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as a touch-sensitive trackpad.
Called the Lava B8, the dule sim phone has been priced at Rs. 5,299. Other features include a 2.3-inch screen that is supposedly high-resolution, a 3.2MP camera with LED flash, Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP, auto-call recorder, 3.5 mm audio jack, and microSD expandability up to 16GB.
The Lava B8 lets users configure up to 10 email accounts at once, and apparently sports a “high power battery” with a 1400 mAh rating for long battery life. It also has an audio/video player, and an inbuilt G-sensor for changing tracks and wallpapers with a shake of the phone. While the phone doesn’t offer 3G connectivity, users can utilize EDGE.The Lava B8 also comes pre-loaded with such popular apps as Nimbuzz, Snaptu, Opera Mini, Facebook, Twitter, Google Talk and Yahoo Messenger. The phone is also Java enabled, allowing users to install various additional apps and games. The Lava B8 comes bundled with a 2GB microSD card as well.
